Aspire Zelos M80 Mod (04 April 2026)

Pros:
Cheap.

Really easy to set up.

The display has a cool little spaceship graphic.

The display has the battery percentage listed numerically.

There's a physical slider on the base to lock the buttons.

Good battery.

Cons:

The indented bars on the metal bit on either side of the display are actually lightbars with stupidly bright LEDs, which not only pulse constantly while the mod is charging, but also during use.

Probably other stuff idk, I've only had this for like 6 hours so far. Aside from the stupid lights tho it seems alright, and I like the little space ship.

(I've filled the dip the lightbars are in with some matte black gesso and sealed it w/ uv resin- this fully blocks out the light but probably isn't something most people have to hand, so unless you really like red flashing lights, maybe get something else?)
